Summer Worship Series
Gathered & Sent
This summer we trace the simple, life-giving rhythm of Christian life: God gathers his people and God sends his people. Week by week, we will explore what's truly happening in worship and how Sunday compells us to live every day for Christ and others. The church is never gathered as an end in itself; we are gathered so that, strengthened by Christ, we may be joyfully sent.
Music in Worship
Worship at Good Shepherd is shaped by the voices and gifts of our church family. In addition to congregational singing, many members participate in worship through choir, handbells, instrumental music, youth choir, and special music throughout the year. Our school students also regularly help lead worship during the school year, creating meaningful opportunities for generations to worship together.
Whether through singing, playing, or listening, music is an important part of the worship life at Good Shepherd.
