Find Hope and Healing After the Loss of a Loved One
GriefShare is a caring, supportive group for people who are grieving the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. Whether your loss is recent or occurred years ago, GriefShare provides a welcoming place where you can find understanding, encouragement, and hope.
You don’t have to walk through grief alone.
What Is GriefShare?
GriefShare is a 13-week grief recovery support program that combines practical guidance, biblical encouragement, and group discussion. Each session includes:
- A video featuring grief recovery experts and personal stories
- Helpful discussion and support from others who understand loss
- Practical tools for navigating the challenges of grief
You’ll discover that many of the emotions and struggles you are experiencing are common, and you’ll gain helpful insights for moving forward while honoring the memory of your loved one.
Who Is GriefShare For?
GriefShare is open to anyone in our community who is grieving the loss of a loved one. You do not need to be a member of Good Shepherd to participate.
People join GriefShare at many different stages of grief. Some attend shortly after a loss, while others find comfort and healing years later. No matter where you are in your journey, you are welcome.
What Topics Are Covered?
Throughout the program, participants explore topics such as:
- Living with grief
- The emotional roller coaster of loss
- Loneliness and isolation
- Questions and doubts
- Family relationships
- Dealing with difficult days and holidays
- Finding hope for the future
